file_exists for streaming ressources

• Subject: file_exists for streaming ressources

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to test if a ressource as 
"mms://myserver/video.wmv" actually exists.
All things i tried as 'is_file', 'file_exists', 'is_readable'... always 
return the same thing.
